Maharishi Mahesh Yogi this week offered to every government the complete knowledge and proven programs to achieve what militaries and politicians have failed to achieve: Invincible Defense. Maharishi’s approach calls for establishing in each nation a small group of Yogic Flyers who will enliven Total Natural Law—the light of God—and create a high level of integrated collective consciousness, which is the basis of invincibility for the nation and permanent peace on earth.

“This is the same message that has been propounded by the wise throughout the ages,” Maharishi said. “I know it is real—but maybe the world doesn’t. That is why I thought I should make this offer to every government.”

Maharishi’s offer came during his inauguration of the “Parliament on Invincible Defense,” which was held at the World Capital of Peace in the Brahmasthan—the geographical center—of India on February 25. Maharishi addressed the Parliament live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. The Parliament on Invincible Defense is the sixth in a series of twelve Parliamentary sessions focusing on all areas of society during the 48-day Parliament of World Peace.

Invincible Defense is based on the Constitution of the Universe

Maharishi said the basis of Invincible Defense is the Constitution of the Universe—the Unified Field—the unmanifest, all-powerful field of invincibility in nature, which creates and maintains the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. “With the blessings of the eternal tradition of Vedic masters, we have the technologies to make any nation invincible by enlivening the Constitution of the Universe in individual and collective consciousness. This is Invincible Defense in the light of Total Natural Law—the light of God—which cannot be stopped or changed by anyone,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi likened his offer of invincibility for every nation to that of an engineer who has the knowledge to establish an electrical powerhouse—and who informs the people that it is no longer necessary to live in the dark. “The engineer proclaims, ‘Take this power line and live in light, today,’” Maharishi said. “Like that, every nation has been living in utter darkness. But now we are proclaiming loudly to every government, ‘Invincible Defense is available for your nation. Take it and enjoy invincibility and absolute freedom on the basis of Total Natural Law.’”

Maharishi said his offer of Invincible Defense is open to all existing governments—but warned that if they are slow to respond, his offer will be extended to their opposition parties. “Please take this knowledge,” Maharishi told the government leaders. “But if you don’t, then your opposition will take it, and you will be out of office in the next election.”

The youth don’t have to die for the nation with Invincible Defense

Maharishi dismissed as “suicidal” the military approach to defense in every country. “You want to defend your country, so you send your youth off to die for the nation. But when you sacrifice the youth, for whom are you defending the nation?” Maharishi said.

Maharishi said the real power of defense will not be found in the ability to die for the security of the nation, but rather in the ability to prevent the birth of an enemy. “Now, with Invincible Defense, every country can prevent the birth of an enemy—and then the youth will live a long life in health, wealth, and wisdom for the nation,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi also had strong words for leaders who promote divisive political parties within their own countries—which tear apart the integrity of the nation and make it vulnerable to takeover by foreign powers.

Global Country of World Peace is adopting
24 countries to make each nation invincible

To remedy the “dilapidated” situation in the world today, Maharishi announced that his Global Country of World Peace is adopting 24 countries to raise each nation to invincibility. A small group of a few hundred to a few thousand Yogic Flyers is now being established in each country to create integrated collective consciousness. (The number of Yogic Flyers in each country depends upon the size of the population of the country.) “It will just take a few months to train these groups and create integrated collective consciousness,” Maharishi said. “Then problems in the nation will disappear, as darkness disappears with the onset of light.”

Maharishi emphasized that more and more countries will soon be adopted until every nation is enjoying Heaven on Earth.

Invincible Defense has been documented by extensive scientific research

The effectiveness of Maharishi’s Invincible Defense has been validated by more than 600 scientific studies conducted at 250 independent universities and research institutions in 33 countries over the past 35 years. “Invincible Defense need not be taken on blind faith,” Maharishi said. “There are seven large volumes of scientific research which demonstrate that our approach can create integrated national consciousness.” (See Scientific Research on Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Program, Vols. 1–7.)

Maharishi said the proof of the power of Invincible Defense can also be seen in Yogic Flying, which, Maharishi explained, demonstrates control over the power of gravity. “The heavy weight of the body lifts up during Yogic Flying by a gentle impulse of thought from the level of self-referral Transcendental Consciousness—the Unified Field, the field of gravity,” Maharishi said.

Establishing schools, colleges, and universities to offer
Invincible Defense to students in every country

Maharishi said schools, colleges, and universities are now being opened in every country to bring Vedic knowledge, including Invincible Defense and Yogic Flying, to one-quarter of the nation’s population—the students.  “Then automatically, a high level of integration will prevail in national consciousness, and the trends and tendencies of the individual and society will always be in the direction of the evolutionary power of Natural Law,” Maharishi said.

Ringing the bell of invincibility for every nation

With the inauguration of the Parliament of Invincible Defense, Maharishi said he is “ringing the bell of invincibility” for every nation and permanent peace on earth. “A fortunate new time of peace and enlightenment is dawning for the whole world family,” Maharishi said. “The light of Total Natural Law—the light of God—will always shine in the life of everyone born on earth. Religion will be fulfilled, science will be fulfilled—every area of knowledge will be fulfilled through Invincible Defense and the whole of Vedic knowledge.”

Maharishi concluded by emphasizing that he is not doing anything new. “For 50 years, we have spoken about the benefits of this knowledge for the individual. Now, we are talking about the benefits for the nation and the world,” Maharishi said. “The knowledge is not new—only people thought it was new because it had been forgotten. But now that the knowledge has been remembered, I thought we should bring it to everyone in the world—because why should people suffer when it is their birthright to enjoy?”
