Maharishi Mahesh Yogi this week offered the world’s billionaires and millionaires a simple, proven approach to safeguard themselves from becoming the target of a terrorist attack: Engage a group of 100 to 200 Yogic Flyers in a local factory or business to create coherent collective consciousness and prevent negativity or destruction from arising anywhere in the surrounding area.
Maharishi’s offer comes at a time when the whole population—in particular, the wealthy—are under increasing risk of attack. And the government, military, and police have proven incapable of safeguarding anyone’s life.
“Life is completely uncertain now,” Maharishi said. “People are massacred for their wealth—for money they have worked hard to earn or inherited from their parents. This is not human civilization. I have the knowledge to prevent negativity in every country—and I am calling on the billionaires and millionaires to utilize the knowledge and save themselves. They may have their money deposited in a bank and they may have a bullet-proof car—but that will not protect them anymore.”
Maharishi will discuss his offer and answer questions from the world press during his next global news conferences on February 23 and 24.
Maharishi first invited the world’s wealthy to establish a $1 billion endowment fund for world peace over three years ago, following the September 11 attacks. The fund would have established a permanent group of 40,000 peace-creating experts to promote coherent world consciousness and prevent negativity from arising anywhere around the globe. Unfortunately, there was no response to the invitation. Since then, violence in the world and attacks on the wealthy have continued unabated.
Maharishi’s approach has been proven by extensive scientific research. For example, research shows that a group in any country of a few hundred to a few thousand Yogic Flyers—the number depends upon the size of the population—is enough to create coherent national consciousness and reduce crime, violence, and conflict throughout society. “The wealthy—as well as the heads of state—in any country can decide to establish a group today and be safe tomorrow,” Maharishi said. “Or they can choose not to act, and be uncertain about what tomorrow will bring.” |
