Maharishi proclaims:
“The experience of the Unified Field is the basis of
invincibility for every individual and every nation”

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi proclaimed anew the readiness of his Global Country of World Peace to raise every nation to invincibility through the technology of the Unified Field. At the same time, Maharishi said that any amount of help is available from the Global Country of World Peace to any nation for its development projects if it wishes to enjoy freedom and invincibility and not sell its sovereignty to any financing agency.”

“Who rules when democracy is forced on a poor nation? Not the uneducated people in the country,” Maharishi said. “It is the foreign powers—the arms-selling British and Americans—who rule. It is cruel to force democracy on a country—to demand change in the government every four years in exchange for some small amount of money. Damn the democracy, which shatters the stability and integrity of the nation and destroys the ancient cultural and religious traditions of the country.”

Maharishi’s message to government leaders came during his October 13 global news conference, which was broadcast live via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. Maharishi will hold his next global news conferences on October 20 and 21.

Government leaders must learn something new
to raise their nations to invincibility

Maharishi acknowledged that his offer of invincibility may be beyond the comprehension of government leaders today, but emphasized that leaders must learn something new in order to secure the safety and sovereignty of their nations. “Those who are managing national affairs must know something which they do not yet know to raise national consciousness to a high level of invincibility so that their sovereignty can never be shadowed by anyone or anything at any time,” Maharishi said.

The experience of the Unified Field is the basis of invincibility

Maharishi said the individual is the unit of the nation, so the basis of an invincible nation is an invincible individual. And the basis of an invincible individual, Maharishi explained, is the experience of the Unified Field—the transcendental, unmanifest field of life, which administers the universe with perfect order. “Through Transcendental Meditation, the ultimate reality can now be accessed in the self-referral consciousness within every individual,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi emphasized that nothing new from the outside is required to raise a nation to invincibility. “We are simply reminding the people about their own inner Self—the Unified Field—which is invincible, unshakeable, and beyond all boundaries,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi also announced that total knowledge of the Unified Field will be offered as the curriculum of his new universities, colleges, and schools, which are now being established in every country. “Then the next generation will own the Unified Field in their awareness so they will not be a slave to situations and circumstances—they will be masters of their own destiny,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi’s program will create stable government
and fulfill the parental role of the head of state

In response to a press question about the long-term impact of his program upon a nation, Maharishi said the government will enjoy perpetual success and stability and the government leader will fulfill his parental role for the country. Such a stable government, Maharishi added, will be in sharp contrast to the current democratic system, which creates chaos in administration. “Consider what would happen to the children if they were asked to select new parents every four years. This is what is happening to the people when there is a new government every four years,” Maharishi said.

Sovereignty should not be a begging bowl—
it should be based in the Unified Field

In response to another press question about how smaller nations could maintain their sovereignty in a world dominated by big economic powers, Maharishi said that sovereignty should not be a begging bowl that can be bought and sold by any individual or nation. Rather, sovereignty should be based on the light of God—total Natural Law—which is sung in the holy texts of every religion, presented in the textbooks of the physical sciences, and directly experienced through the science of consciousness. “Here is a chance for every country to rise to invincibility on the basis of the invincible light of God—the Unified Field—within the self-referral consciousness of everyone,” Maharishi said.

“We will soon raise every nation to invincibility
and the world to fulfillment”

Maharishi concluded by saying that it will not take long to transform the world from problems and conflict to prosperity and peace. “With the blessings of the tradition of Vedic masters, the unshakeable transcendental field of life is now available on the surface of life,” Maharishi said. “And with the modern systems of communication, we can efficiently bring total knowledge to the whole world in a single moment from a single place. This gives us the courage to proclaim that we will soon raise every nation to invincibility and the world to fulfillment—life in peace, affluence, and perfect health for every individual, every nation, and thewhole world family.”
